" Glenmorangie is perhaps the best-selling single malt in Scotland. It has a very small production amount, and is in such demand that it is often the only distillery in Scotland that does not offer up any of its single-malt whisky for blending to the production houses (although this has not always been the case – MacDonald and Muir’s blended whisky used to use Glenmorangie as a quality top-up).

Unlike a lot of distilleries, Glenmorangie doesn’t stick with the same kind of casking, but rather chooses to experiment with American bourbon barrels, red Bordeaux wine oak casks, port and madeira casks, too.
