The GlenlivetDistillery is located near Ballindalloch in Moray, Scotland. It is the oldest legal distillery in Scotland, founded in the same year that distilling was legalised by the Government, and since then it has operated almost continuously. The distillery remained open throughout the Great Depression and its only closure came during World War II.The Glenlivet brand is the biggest selling malt whiskey in the United States and the third biggest selling single malt brand globally.
